Andrea LaVare Malagon (she/her), E-RYT 200, RYT 500, YACEP, began practicing yoga over twenty years ago. In 1996 she earned her BFA in Dance from Cornish College of the Arts. And she acquired her Health and Fitness certification through the American College of Sports Medicine in 1998.
Throughout her career, she has taught in the corporate, non-profit, and private health and fitness sectors. She teaches at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and at Starbucks Global Headquarters. She is grateful for the opportunity to serve as the group fitness coordinator for Rainier Health and Fitness, a registered 501(c)(3). She worked at the Washington Athletic Club, a private social and athletic club, for over a decade prior to opening Salud in 2010.
